Beats x pink light and unreasonable warranty decision

Ive Seen a few posts on here about pink lights coming on beats x earphones. I tried all the resets and nothing worked . Eventually return them to apple and it turns out they where one day out of warranty when I made the call but was assured they would repair as long as if it was not caused by damage from myself . It’s turns out that because the mesh inside the earbuds had fallen out they would not honour the warranty this clearly never caused the problem and the mesh falling was due to wear and tear my warranty was invalid. Wear and tear how do you stop that then apple ? Not wear them 🤷‍♂️
