I changed the time on a set of photos when a camera's time stamp was incorrect (incorrect time zone). After changing the time, the photos are not being sorted to reflect the corrected time. How do I get them to sort by real time?
The date in the Info tab does not show the time zone assigned to the photo.
You can see the timezone belonging to the time only in the "Image > Adjust Date& Time" panel, if you look at the bottom of the panel and check the "Closest City". When you corrected the capture time for your photos, did you check the "Closests City" as well?
And did you restart photos, after you adjusted the time? Photos does not necessarily update the Moments in Photos immediately, but you can force the update by restarting Photos.

How are they sorted and w`here are you viewing the photos? If it's one of the albums created automatically by Photos the sort is by date, oldest first.
If you want to sort them by date-newest first you need to create your own album and add the photos to it.
What system and Photos versions are you running?
Aha! I've got to set both the time and time zone, and then things are good! Great, thanks for clearing that up for me.
I'm viewing as Photos, not as an album. The only sort option (greyed) is "Sort by Capture Date". But the photos are definitely not sorted by the date displayed in the "Info" tab.

Yes, that's it. The assigned date and time needs to be correct for the assigned time zone, that Photos is using and unfortunately not displaying with the dates and times.
