Why is audio on Instagram stories still not working? I have to move through the post to get an audio to play there and then go back to the stories so that it will play. This seems like a simple issue why can’t it work correctly? Appreciate any solution to this.

Thank you, guess I agree. I thought it worked OK on my new iPhone but just checked it and no go. Once in a while the story audio comes on when I increase volume. The only thing that makes it work is to click audio on in a IG post, then go back to story.

For assistance with Instagram I suggested reaching out to their technical support.
Since Instagram is not an Apple product, you need to reach out to the developer of the App and ask them. This has NOTHING to do with Apple or your iPad.
