Using Iphone on Ethernet

I have successfully connected my iphone to ethernet and my wish is to be able to maximise its use on ethernet ideally on airplane mode. At this point I am able to access the internet on airplane mode but nothing else. I appreciate I am not able to make mobile calls. But I was expecting to make Facetime audio and video calls and be able to send imessages. How do I do this?

Airplane mode disables all radios. Since the phone does not actually have an Ethernet "card" I'll guess the wifi setting is what your Ethernet connection is using.

Try airplane mode, but turn wifi back on. Or simply disable Cellular only to achieve the same effect. I can't see having Bluetooth on and not paired as being an issue.
