In the Logic Pro X, how to convert the format to MP3 to suit for phones? Thank you!

You don't need LPX to convert an audio file. In the Finder, right-click the file, use the "Encode Selected Audio Files" option, and then convert to Apple Lossless. That is a format an iPhone or any other Apple product will be able to play.

If you're exporting from Logic, Command-B then select the MP3 option and configure as you desire.

First off, you don't NEED to convert an MP3 to listen on Phones. Obviously, millions of people do this every day.

IF YOU LIKE, you can easily import the MP3 into Logic, and bounce it out in any format you like (WAV/PCM, Lossless, etc.)

But UNDERSTAND THIS - up converting an MP3 to a lossless file (or anything else) will not improve the quality. MP3 files are relatively small because the conversion process throws a lot of material away to get to that size, all based on psychoacoustics. What you got is what you got, and making it bigger won't make it better.

Conversely, if you start using Apple Lossless as your preferred format (which cuts file size roughly in half), you can fully recover the original material by expanding it (which Logic will do).
