Why do deleted files from iCloud Photos take so long to be permanently deleted and where is the immediate delete option?

This is ridiculous fixed amount of time with no option to specify immediate deletion. I want to make room on my iCloud but have to wait a month for the files to delete?!?!?! Add a user option for immediate or specified time less than 30-40 days.

Stop hard coding functionality with no option dictating or assuming what you think the user preference is!

Use a web browser and sign in with Apple ID and password that is already used in an iPhone at www.icloud.com and delete the files permanently https://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm9cf51c51f4
