Charged During Free Trial

I bought a 3-Day free trial for the PicsArt app and was charged during the 3 day period. After finding this out, I cancelled the subscription before the payment date had arrived and even then found that nothing has changed. While reporting this for a refund, I keep getting told it is not eligible for a refund. Any ideas on what I can do?

When were you charged during the 3 days ? If less than 24 hours prior to the renewal date you are likely to still be charged. If more than 24 hours contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
