I have several Twitter accounts and of course that is simple on iOS, but on the Mac, you have to log out of an account and sign into another. That used to be just a hassle. Now it appears it is impossible. I can't find an area on the Twitter site to log out. They have it well hidden.

Marco: Very strange. That worked, but the behaviour of the Twitter page apparently varies depending upon which Twitter account I am on. (I have three Twitter accounts) I also think it depends on whether or not I have chosen to use the “New Twitter”. Thank you.
Twitter started recently to roll out the new interface to all users. It could be that some accounts still load the "old" version.
On the left menu select More and then Log out.
