health.json or activities.json

Hi all,

I am on a quest for finding my digital me and have downloaded all my data from Apple, that I now want to analyse.

My focus was on my activity data, because I use that most often. Now in my downloaded folders, I can find a health.json file, but if I look for explanation of the data inside between the file guides, I only find an activities.json description guide.

If it was just the name that was different, that would be fine, but if I search for 'ActivitySharingWorkout.sample' (The start date, end date, and unique identifier associated with a workout), their is no text corresponding to that.

It seems that these are other types of data files, but I can't find activities.json anywhere in my downloaded folders. Also my health.json only goes to 2017. So I am guessing health.json is the old way of tracking activity.

But why did I not get the most recent activity data file then? I have been wearing an apple watch for the past 2 years, so there must be data somewhere.

Last thing I could think of was if whether I didn't share my activity data with icloud, and therefore, apple does not have it stored of those last 2 years. But this I could not confirm to be true.

Anybody an idea?

p.s. the 'topic related' options down here do not give 'privacy' or 'data', as a topic. That would be a suggestion to add.
