Accepting iCloud Calendar Invite

So look, a friend sent me an invite to an iCloud calendar, but I don't have any Apple products whatsoever. Is there any way that I can accept the invite and import the calendar into Google or something? I made an iCloud account, but when I click the Accept Invite link in the email it does nothing at all.

Thx

Hi there, rbrthlms!

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. I understand that you are not a user of Apple products, but have a friend who invited you to share an iCloud Calendar. I'm happy to help!

To participate in a private iCloud Calendar, you need to have an iCloud account, but you do not need to use an Apple product. You can download iCloud for Windows on a Windows PC: Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support, or use iCloud.com from your computer's browser.

Once you get an invitation, you can use the information in iCloud: Reply to a shared iCloud calendar invitation and iCloud: Reply to an invitation in iCloud Calendar to accept the invitation. If you need help with the iCloud Calendar invitation, try the steps in Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders - Apple Support.

Cheers.

Thanks for the help. The pages you linked refer to a calendar page at www.icloud.com/calendar. Unfortunately I cannot access this page. It redirects me to the launchpad at icloud.com/#. I also do not see any calendar sidebar on icloud.com. When I click Join Calendar in my invitation email, my browser directs me to the launchpad at iCloud.com, but it does not show a calendar. Is this because I need to download iCloud for Windows, or do I need to use a different browser or something?
