what does it mean when I am trying to restore my iPhone and update it? this is the message I get. "The IPHONE IPHONE could not be restored. the disk you are attempting to use is full. idk what this means please help

See If your iTunes backup couldn't be completed or you can't restore from a backup - Apple Support. The first step in an iOS restore make a duplicate copy of the iOS device backup data. If you don't have room for that the process will fall over.
