Can I run mojave on an older Macbook air

Question

I don't know exactly how old my macbook air is - several years. Can i run mojave or is yosemite all it will run?

It has to be a mid 2012 or newer MacBook Air to run Mojave. Look at "About This Mac" under the Apple menu to see what year it is.

I've made a screenshot on my Mac mini of the "About this Mac" that Dialabrain mentioned. In my case I have a late 2014 mini.

It should list which model of Air you have in your case.
