My Apple Watch would not pair to my phone

My apple watch would not pair to my phone after being unpaired once before. I then followed apple instructions to go to settings, erase all and reset, and tried pairing once again. When I pressed the button to pair again, it said my watch needed to update before pairing. I went on with pressing the update button. It then says that pairing has failed and will not update my watch. I am now stuck on the activation screen of my watch. Someone please help. I have tried everything, and been trying for days!!
