Whatsapp notifications despite Do Not Disturb

Whatsapp notification sounds are not selected and 'do not disturb' is on, but i still get Whatsapp notifications. How can i mute it?

Can not mute WhatsApp Hi everyone, I have not gained WhatsApp access to any notification. Notification switch is off for this app. But when I get incoming WhatsApp call even if WhatsApp is not running in the background it rings. I do not see any notification or badge on the screen nor a pop-up message. I just hear WhatsApp ringtone and will not be able to tell who is calling unless I open the app. Had a similar issue with google due while ago when I could not silence it at all. Is it just me?

How do you mute notifications for an app from the settings -> app name -> notifications? There is an option to pick a sound but none to turn off sound. NT

Do Not Disturb doesn't work with 3rd Party Apps When I turn on Do Not Disturb I still get the sound notification for third part apps, like Slack and WhatsApp. Does anyone else experience this? I remember a time when this wasn't happening, but Apple must have changed the way it works. Is this a bug on Apple side or are Slack, etc... the offenders.

Is do not disturb set on all devices?

Did you quit Whatsapp?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
