When my iPhone XS is set on silent, I am still getting sound notifications for incoming text messages when the screen is unlocked. They’re silent when the screen is locked. It’s rather annoying. Any suggestions on silencing them all around? Thanks!

Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Previews > Never [Tick]
Settings > Notifications > Messages Lock Screen [Untick]
From here you can also choose how to sho
w notification previews for specific apps. For example, you can have notification previews show up all the time or never, even when your device is locked.
