Mail Freezing

I'm running a fresh copy of Mojave, but mail is freezing every time I try to send a message. I've tried reinstalling the OS, resetting the account settings, but it still freezes.

mail not sending mojave My Mail 12.4 on my Mac mini running Mojave 10.14.5 freezes when I try to send an email. It says "Sending Message" until it times out. There is no problem with my iPhone or laptop using the same wifi connection. There is also an intermittent freezing of my browser (Safari) when an outgoing email is stuck. Any suggestions?

Mail freezes 2-3 seconds, continues (MacOS 13.2.1, Mail 16.0) Recently Mail has this irritating behavior where after sending or deleting an e-mail, all action stops, resumes after 2-3 seconds; keystrokes are remembered & executed after resume.

Mail App Freezing Ever since I installed Mojave on my MBP, I have had issues with the Apple Mail Client. Some messages, but not all cause the app to lock up. I have not been able to find a rhyme or reason as to which messages cause the problem. I have tried deleting and adding the account again with no change. Thanks for your input!
