iMac stuck on screensaver Mojave

My iMac often stucks at the screensaver. It seems like there is no response from mouse, keyboard or usb-input. I found out that when I hit the keys Shift+CMD+Q at the same time, my iMac wakes up.

Unfortunaly all loggedin accounts are logged off.

Who has a better solution? Thank you.

If you do not want or require a password after the screen saver starts, go to: Apple > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab > unlock the panel > and uncheck "Require password _____ after sleep or screen saver begins"

I'm using an iMac retina 27", 2017 with Mojave 10.14.5; 3,5 GHz i5, 16GB ram.

This problem happens once in awhile, not always. I can not reproduce. I'd tried pram and smc reset. This might helped for awhile. I also had contact with Apple support. They only suggest pram reset.

I read somewhere on the internet someone with a similar problem had a broken motherboard. But I can't imagine this is the case with my iMac. Anyway, every suggestion is welcom.
