Hello Fresh

I signed up for Hello Fresh and was able to pay for my first delivery through Apple Pay. I set it up to get a delivery every other week. This week I received an email stating the transaction was declined even though I had the funds in my Apple Pay account to cover it. After speaking to multiple HF reps on the phone they were not able to resolve the issue. I even asked if they could email me a bill with the option to pay through Apple Pay. They said they needed a credit card to keep on file and they could not accept Apple Pay. I stated they accepted it for my first shipment and why could it not be used for future shipments. They stated it was connected to my discover card and to reach out to my bank to sort it out. I do not have any card attached to my Apple Pay as I only receive funds and use it where Apple Pay is accepted at local grocery stores.


Has anyone else had an issue like this? Is Discover somehow involved in handling the Apple Pay transactions?
