It's been months now that the Gift this app... menu item is no longer on the More menu on an app's page in the App Store app.
Is this a permanent thing? I know it's only for paid apps (I'm an app developer), and on my paid app (and others that I've looked at), that menu item is gone.
And no word from Apple as to why. Googling the term "can't gift app" doesn't return anything but pages on how to gift an app.
Any ideas?
