iPhone XS exposed to water

my iPhone xs got exposed to very little amount of water and now isnt working. It is not waterproof, and now it doesn’t turn on at all. Now i have to pay almost 1000$ to get it fixed. This can not be real. The Phone doesn’t even have a scratch on it at all, it is brand new

Water damaged iPhone 12 will not turn on I have apple care + will this cover my phone that will not work at all after Its been accidentally submerged in water

Water damage is not covered by any warranty and iPhone's are not waterproof.

You can't get it fixed so it'll have to be replaced.
