128GB 4-in-1 flash drive "Not for MacBook Pro 2018 USB C"

I'm trying to buy a 128GB 4-in-1 (four connectors -- USB 3, USB C, Micro USB and Lightning) flash drive. One that I found on Amazon (link below) has this in the explanation: "Not for MacBook Pro 2018 USB C" which is what I have.

Does this mean that not all USB C equipped flash drives will work with Thunderbolt 3? Why (if it's not too complicated an answer)?

Any suggestions on how can I be sure that the flash drive I get WILL work with my MacBook Pro 2018 with four Thunderbolt 3 USB C size ports?
