Hi all,

the file system.app of my MacBook Pro is damaged. Cannot open.

Visible on library/utilities



How to rescue it?

Are you talking about System Information app in the Applications/Utility folder?

If it is damaged then boot into Recovery and choose Reinstall Mac OS.

But first I'd try restarting in Safe Mode and check to see if it works as expected there:
