I logged out of my iTunes on my MacBook Air, and when I try to sign back in it won't let me?

iTunes log-in won't go away and can't log-in with Apple ID Hello! The iTunes log-in screen won't allow me to close it on my mainscreen on my MacBook Air. Also when I try to log-in with my AppleID it won't allow me. I've updated my password successfully but it still won't allow me to log-in. I tried to update all apps to be sure this wasn't the issue but hasn't resolved anything and I can't delete iTunes to reinstall it. Any ideas how to fix this?? Thank you!

itunes :( iTunes isn't letting me log back in on my Macbook. I haven't been signed in in a few months. Has anyone gone through this?

Try If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books - Apple Support.
