Which CPU is the main?

I am using a Macbook Air at the moment with fan monitoring software. I want to be sure of the CPU temperature most of the time and there are 4 devices:

CPU Core 2

CPU Core 3

CPU PECI

CPU Proximity

I am currently using CPU Proximity which seems to be the general temperature, but to be sure, which is the "main" CPU of these 4?

Hi,

I assume CPU proximity is the CPU heatsink temperature.
