Can I install Compressor 4.4.4 (compatible for macOS 10.13.6 or higher, when my mac version is OS.X EL Capitan 10.11.6, and if not where can i find a earlier version?
I want to use it to increase video file formats.

Did you ever purchase Compressor, or are you trying to buy it for the first time, which is much more tricky?
If the former simply go to the App Store in El Capitán to download the appropriate version. If you need to buy it you’ll have to do that on a current system using your Apple ID, then redownload it on your El Capitán system, which will give you the correct version for the OS.
What format do you need? They may not be available in older versions of the software.
