DISPUTING PAYMENTS LED TO MY ID BEING PERMANENTLY DISABLED

Hi everyone for about a month I have been locked out of my iTunes and App Store. I’ve tried calling Apple twice and both times I end up hanging up ****** off and I even emailed the big guy two times to no avail. I was told by one of the reps that the reason I was disabled was because I disputed three on authorized iTunes charges since I’ve had Apple which is now 10 years. She told me I had to start a whole new ID She said I should’ve disputed with Apple directly and not my bank This sounds so wrong and completely bogus. I’m still locked out. I have 64 updates pending. Has anyone else been locked out bc of disputing charges? And is it hard to get back in your phone?

She said I should’ve disputed with Apple directly and not my bank This sounds so wrong and completely bogus.

If the charges were on your iTunes account you should have contacted iTunes Support and not the card issuer. If the card issuer refunded you you now likely owe iTunes for those amounts and therefore caused them to block the account . Only iTunes Support can potentially reinstate the account.

Thanks. I just spoke to apple supervisor and she was super cool and reinstated me no problem. I can’t be the only one who has run into this issue. I consider myself pretty logical, but I never thought I would be shut down for an unknown charge. Especially when I have hardly ever disputed anything with apple. I also believe that bc one dispute consisted of like 4 separate iTunes charges... they see that as 4 occurrences , when I see it as one bc I didn’t know what the heck it was. I just saw $23 debited and forgot how to look up purchases, Now I know, thank god. And the ppl today were super nice at apple. ..
