IPhone X Face ID stopped working

Hi all . IPhone X face if was working fine and it stopped all of a sudden . Moreover the front camera is taking simple photo in portrait mode . I updated iOS , reset my phone , did hard reset . When I try to set the Face ID it keeps saying move iPhone low or high . Nothing happens . How to fix it .
