Apple TV Movies volume too low

I have an ATV 4k. It's connected to my Denon receiver and my 5.1 surround system. For some reason, when I watch ANYTHING, the volume level is great. But, when I try to watch movies through my iTunes account and the movie app, the volume level is horribly low. I have to crank my receiver basically double what the volume should be at for any other input/app. If I go into the ATV audio settings and change it to stereo, the volume level is appropriate. But then I'm losing my 5.1 surround so that's not a good fix.

Keep in mind I'm not talking about sound quality. I'm strictly talking about volume. If I turn on Netflix, volume is fine. If I don't change a thing, and try to play a movie through the movies app, the volume is so low I can barely make out any dialog.

Any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas? This is a crappy situation. I'm about to start purchasing movies through Amazon because the volume on those are fine. Only ATV movies are low volume. The only slight workaround I can find is:

Audio settings to 5.1 Dolby

Turn ON reduce loud sounds (so then gun shots, explosions are now more muted...lame)

This is the only way to hear dialog at an acceptable level. Even then I need to increase the volume but at least it's not having to increase it to almost full volume to hear.
