Is it possible to ship refurbished products outside the United States ( Kuwait ) ?

My son is currently serving as a senior scientist/chemical engineer in a large Pharmacutical company in Chicago. He was never in the military. I was just trying to use that as an example.

You assuming poster was talking about Apple refurbished products. Other people refurbish apple products too.

I'm making the point that a private citizen can buy a refurbished product and ship it anywhere they want within USA export guidelines.

Yes, since they had come to the ASC to post I did assume they meant an Apple refurbished product and since they said they wanted it shipped to Kuwait I assumed that they wanted to buy it online and have Apple ship it to Kuwait. Turns out I assumed correctly. And yes I understand your point but it wasn't pertinent to the question or babowa's response, it just became a confusing sidebar.

Apple purchased products can only be shipped within country of purchase.

That was also my understanding and I can't find anything that says otherwise.

So you are saying that you logged into the US online Apple Store, purchased an iPhone and used a shipping address overseas and Apple sent it there?

I took the OP to mean could he buy a refurbished product online from the US and have it shipped to the US. They later confirmed this.

Nice job, I've been emailing some people in a similar position with Mitsubishi Pharmaceutical. It was a nice example though.

You may not export any products purchased online from Apple.

Sorry, but that would not have occurred to me as I would never entertain the idea to buy an Apple refurb from anyone but Apple.
