Garageband Line input
How do I add a line input from a MIDI keyboard? I can make it a MIDI input but I'd like to record the sound that the keyboard produces without any background noise, making a microphone impractical.

check the specs of your Mac.
if it has a line-IN, then you can plug the headphone jack from the keyboard into the line-IN, and select Built-In input from GB's prefs.
