Prevent Certain Folders in iCloud Drive from Deleting

I have some folders in the iCloud Drive that I will be working on everyday and my MacBook is always low in space. Is there any way that I can prevent the folders from being deleted when it's low in space? It is annoying that I need to manually click download every time I want to work on it.

I have read this article before posting here. It's not the solution to my issue.

My iCloud Drive is set to Optimize Mac Storage. Hence some files will be removed from my MacBook when it's low in space. There are some files that I work on everyday. So I do not want them to be removed. I hope there is a way to set priority to the apps/folders (e.g. Lower priority files will be removed first when the Mac is low in space).
