Texts show in notifications as from my mum, but in Messages there is no message from my mum, and the text is under my number

when my mum texts my partners number it show in the alert its from my mum but when she open up messages there no message from my mum but the text is under my number

My phone and daughter's phone are somehow connected My phone and daughter's phone are somehow connected and I am not sure why. Sometimes I receive text that are directed to her, my name comes up as the contact when she texts others, etc. How can this be resolved?
