Right Airpod Won't Pair or Charge

Last night I let my airpods charge and when I woke up my left airpod was at 10% and my right one was at 5% while my case was also at 5%. I simply thought that maybe I didn't plug the cable in correctly but when I checked it later the left airpod was at 22% and the case was at 2% and my right airpod was still at 5%. I found this strange but I let it charge a little longer until my left airpod was at 100% and also the case but when I connected it to my macbook and my phone only the left airpod and the case would show up . I tried to unpair and pair the airpods again and I also tried cleaning out the charger with a cloth for glasses and a toothpick and also tried a q tip but nothing worked. I realized when only the left airpod was in the case the light would be green but when the right airpod was in it would flash green so I knew it was charging. Now I tried to only charge my right airpod and not my left one and the batter of the case went from 100% to 65% but the light still flashed green and I still could not connect it to my phone for macbook. I am running out of ideas.
