Bad CPU type in executable

I am trying to install playonmac and i get the following message on terminal

shotea@MacBook-Pro ~ % /Applications/PlayOnMac.app/Contents/MacOS/playonmac ; exit;

env: ./playonmac.real: Bad CPU type in executable

[Process completed]

I need help to fix this.

Bad CPU Type in Executable Hi everyone. Today I attempted to install steam on my 2014 MacBook Air, and upon opening the console, I received a message about "zsh". A prompt Google search showed me how to change my terminal to zsh, but steam still wouldn't open, even after restarting my computer. Opening the console again, an error message appeared: "Bad CPU type in executable". I am unable to find any fixes for this without a link to how to change the terminal. Is there any way to look further into and/or fix this?

bad CPU type in executable in Catalina Hey guys, I'm getting this when trying to open an App in Catalina, When I use the GUI it just won't open, but when I use Terminal it gives me that. I already tried switching my shell to zsh, but that did nothing. I noticed the App has a file called osx-intel in it and that's exactly what I have, so it doesn't make any sense to get that message when everything seems to be fine. Any ideas? Thanks
