Apple Card invite email

I received an invitation email about getting early access to Apple Card, but every time I tried to apply, an error message always pops up and says "Apple Card Unavailable. Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later."

I tried calling Apple support too, but they can't seem to figure our which department to direct my call to, spend most of the time waiting for transfer and the call was disconnected after 15 minutes..

Any one experiencing the same issue trying to apply for the Apple Card? I was really excited to receive the invite, and really bummed that it's not working :(

Hi OP here, so to sum it up: my original invite link never worked until today, which is the same day they opened it up to the public. The previous reply by MikesiPodHelp said Apple would send out a new invite within 48 hours, I never received anything.

At the end I still got my Apple Card, not through the original early invite nor any of the ways that Apple said they'll do, just the good old fashioned "open to public".

Mine worked today....FINALLY.....as well. I didn’t even have to go to the email. I just went to the wallet app, clicked the plus, clicked CONTINUE, and there was the option. I was through the process, approved, and could use the card through Apple Pay in less than 2 minutes. So for what the hassle was worth and the nonsense about early access...in the end the process worked flawlessly.

I have been getting the same message since I received my invite yesterday. I have powered off and back on and it's still not working. I am running 12.4. Have no idea what to do next.

Yes I receive the email invite, I clicked through the “Apply Now” link which opened up Wallet. The error message showed up after I clicked continue.

I received the invite today and I got the same error.

I turn off and on my phone and it works.

That stinks but I did click on the link in my invitation almost immediately when it arrived so I wonder how accurate that information was.

I have followed both links and verified everything. I meet all the requirements for an Apple Card and my device is setup correctly. Still get same Apple Card Unavailable message when I try to apply.
