Renaming an iPod Classic 7th Generation 120 GB

I've tried the many suggestions but with all of the changes to iTunes they don't work. I have iTunes 12.9.6.3. Windows 10.

I had an iPod Classic 6th Generation and could have shown I did it on the iPod itself but most Googles say to do it in iTunes.

Just bought it off Ebay and it has a 128 SSD GB harddrive but doubt that matters.

how do i rename an ipod in itunes how do i rename an ipod in itunes? I was told I merely needed to click on the name on the left side (where it displays the device), but when I click NOTHING HAPPENS. A rename should be a no-brainer to do. Please help.

Ipod not syncing My iPod Classic isn't syncing and I can't tick where it says to syc ticked music. The guy I bought it from said its the computer I am using, so then why have I been able to rename the iPod but the music won't sync?? HELP

You should be able to rename it from the Summary tab when it is connected to iTunes.
