wifi dropping on only one mac pro, only in office

Hi,

I'm dealing with a confounding issue. My boss's less-than-a-year-old Mac Pro keeps randomly dropping internet while in the office. No one else's internet is dropping, so my inclination is that his laptop is the issue, but he claims his wifi is not dropping while he's working from home or other locations. My first thought was that it was an issue with a poorly shielded USB-C port connection, so I had our ISP create a 5GHz only network to see if that would help (our regular wifi is a 2.4GHz/5GHz hybrid), but apparently it hasn't. From my best understanding, he's running High Sierra.

I welcome any suggestions or hypotheses.

Thanks!
