Airdrop Problem - iPhone doesn't connect to iMac to do Airdrop

I cannot get my iPhone X to recognise and connect with my iMac [Late 2015] via Airdrop to transfer photos or documents. My iMac picks up and shows the iPhone and will transfer photos etc, but not the other way around.

The settings of Airdrop are set to recognise Everyone and my details are in both Contact lists via iCloud. All software is up to date. I have "Block all incoming connections" and Personal Hotspot both switched off. Bluetooth is on and both are using the same wifi network. I don't have any problem transferring items from my iPhone to other family / friends iPhones.

I am at a loss as to what is the problem so any suggestions will be most welcome.

Thanks Steve

Sorry folks but have now find the answer. Switched off Firewall and hey presto all working.

I understand the reasons and benefits for the Firewall but find it strange that two units both having the same Apple ID cannot talk to each other without exposing the systems to risk by switching off the Firewall, even if only for a short period of time. AND this is not mentioned in any of the guidance notes.
