PK Pass files

my ipad isn't recognizing a PK Pass file (electronic ID pass) , I`ve got apple pay / wallet on my ipad and its allowing me to add credit card and debit cards. I`ve been told the pk pass file should download strait into my wallet

Can't add pass to Apple Wallet I can't add passes to my wallet. In Safari I receive the error message 'can't download this file' and in chrome I receive the error message 'can't add this to passbook at this time'. This issue started as soon as I updated to iOS 16. I see people complaining about this issue all over the net without a single solution posted except links to the standard "how to add a pass to Apple Wallet" which is NO help whatsoever as it does not mention this issue at all, so if anyone has found a solution it would be much appreciated.

Can't add wallet pass on different iphone We are facing issues while adding the wallet pass through chrome 79 & firefox 21+ versions on multiple iPhones, getting “sorry, your Pass cannot be installed to Passbook at this time.” message. While using the same on Safari it is working fine. We try to debug on our side but failed to get any solution for it. Can you guys help us to provide the solution.

The Wallet app isn't available on iPads, only iPhones and iPod Touches : Use Wallet on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay on iPads is for credit and debit cards.
