This window suddenly appeared on my computer. Not thinking it was an apple installer I didn't do anything but it is freezing my computer when I hit cancel or ok. Free version of Malwarebytes has declared my computer clean but this window continues to pop up on every restart. Any fixes?

Thx!

Good afternoon Klrskyz,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you are getting a pop-up window asking you to approve an Installer app on your MacBook Pro. Try starting your computer in safe mode and see if you can get past this:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

Before troubleshooting, always make sure you have a backup of your computer

Back up your Mac with Time Machine

Then, open System Preferences > Users & Groups and sign in. Click the Login Items tab and make a note of the items you find there. These are apps that will start up when you restart your computer. Delete all of the items in your Login Items list. Look for the items that you are unfamiliar with in your Downloads folder and remove them from there as well.

Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

How to block pop-ups in Safari

Take care.
