how to undo delete in Finder

Cmd-Z should undo a move to Trash.

If that doesn't work, this probably won't, either:

Open the Trash and select the item.

Choose Put Back from the File menu.

If you used the Delete Immediately… command, then as it warned, there is no way to undo.

Check your Trash/Bin if it's there to recover.
