Heart rate on my apple watch even while i'm not wearing the device. How does this exactly happen ?

Try erasing your watch and setting up as new.
Failing that, you should contact support by clicking the link in the upper right hand side of the page, or making an appointment at a genius bar.
Tried but still the same. Even when I keep my watch on the table, it shows the reading!! It shows as low as 41 and as high as 208 and the reading gets recorded in the health app. Which is definitely not correct. It’s prone to complete wrong interpretation of the data.

Most likely your watch is stuck in a loop.
Try restarting your watch by holding in the crown and the side button until you see the Apple logo, then release.
Apparently as per the Apple support team representative, heart rate app captures the heart rate of non living things as well 🤣
