screen damage

I think I accidentally cracked my MacBook Air slightly and now colorful lines are growing on the screen and its beginning to be difficult seeing the icons. it is also slightly chipped on the black pert where it says MacBook Air because one day last week I was trying to close it and there was something in the MacBook and I didn't know it was there and when I closed it it kinda cracked because I didn't move whatever was there.. but I was working fine for a while but now its got colorful lines and its been like this since yesterday and its getting worse, any tips??
