AirPods losing connection after pause\notification\incoming call

Hello!

Got an issue with connection of Airpods with my iPhone XS Max. I'm using latest iOS 12.4

When music is playing all good, but when I pause it or receive a notification it disconnects headphones from phone and I have manually go to Bluetooth settings to connect it again.

The main thing: when I instantly try to load Settings app after Airpods disconnection - Setting app is stuck and hung not responding. I have to close it completely, wait until process will be closed and load Settings app again.

I have tried to install clean iOS using iTunes with factory reset, but the issue is still the same.

Need advice, maybe I'm missing something?

Cheers, Dmitriy

Hi s0und123,

Thanks for posting. I understand you're running into an issue with AirPods connectivity after performing a clean iOS install on your device.

It sounds like your next best step is to perform a full reset of the AirPods, and then re-pair them. This might clear up any issues coming from the AirPods side of things: Reset your AirPods

If the issue persists, that's when I recommend that you Contact Apple Support to look into this further. Take care.
