Cant Change payment method

I cant change the payment method of my itunes.

I can not put a new credit card because it says I have to verify the old one. The old one expired over a year ago and i do not remember the code from the back. I can not delete the old one, as it says i have to have a credit card there, and it wont let me put a new one as I just said... I have to verify the old one first.

As much as I love going around in circles and wasting time, I'd appreciate any help from someone short of telling me to use a hammer to fix it.

Try adding the new card and removing the old one via https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage

If that also doesn't work contact iTunes Support and see if they can help you do it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
