Can I buy a phone with no camera?

Hello, in my husbands job the mobile with camera is forbidden for data protection etc etc , so he has an old phone with no internet no watsapp, only phone and sms, so I would like to buy for him an Iphone with no camera, but I dont want to pay for the nice and well developed cameras and then take them off, any advice?

There are very few smart phones available without a camera. There are a few though - all Android to my knowledge and some only sold in certain countries. On Amazon, they don’t seem to get good reviews though. Ino, Dupad and ZTE make or made minimalist smart phones without cameras.

For non-camera cell phones you’re pretty much limited to non-smart phones though.

Cameras are a huge item when it comes to smart phone features - every manufacturer always highlights their device’s photo and video capability, and Samsung, LG, Apple and others are always trying to beat the others with their smart phone camera capability. And with Apple’s move to FaceID over touchID at least one camera is required on new and presumably all future iOS devices.

Every iPhone currently has a camera on the front and back. There is no way to buy an iPhone that has no camera. You could disable the Camera app from the iPhone in Restrictions where you can disable features like Camera, FaceTime, Safari (Internet) etc... e.g. if you have a child.

But from a hardware standpoint? No, sorry there is no way to remove the cameras.
