Macbook Pro 15" touchbar late 2016 screen issue

Dear community team

It's a third time I faced problems like this, a weird colored lines flashing on the screen.

From 2012 I bought an MBP 15", 2014 I bought the second MBP 15" and finally I bought MBP 15" Touch Bar late 2016. All faced the same issue after two years of working. as seen in the attached images:

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It's my understanding that you are experiencing lines on the display of your MacBook Pro. I'd like to help.


-Are these lines present constantly, or only after starting up your Mac, waking your Mac from sleep, etc.?

-Has there been any pressure placed on the lid of your MacBook Pro that may have caused some internal damage?

-Do you have any peripherals connected to your MacBook, such as external hard drives, displays, etc.? If so, when you disconnect these and restart your Mac, does the same issue remain?


Have you tested to see if the same issue is present when booted into safe mode? Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

You can also try resetting the NVRAM to help with display issues: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

Thanks for letting me know you've taken these steps already in an attempt to get this issue resolved. At this point, it sounds like it would be best to have your MacBook inspected in-person by a technician. They can help inspect and evaluate your machine to determine if there are any hardware concerns that could be causing this failure on this particular MacBook.
