Cracked Screen Replacement

I have an iPhone XS with a cracked screen / cracked back. I am looking to get the screen repaired. I tried with best buy, but they told me they were unable to fix the screen because my back glass was cracked, he then told me to go to an apple store and they will be able to. I wanted to confirm if it is possible to go to an apple store and get my front screen replaced, only, as I do not care too much for the back glass. I have apple care+.
