Garageband adds another minute when exporting a song

Whenever I export a song (as MP3, WAVE or AIFF), garageband always adds another minute to the lenght of it. I've moved the header / cursor thing triange at the top and set the end to 2:03 but whenever it bounces it extends to 3:05. So now, I have this dead silence after my song I cant get rid of. Ive tried deleting the exported file and did it again but its always going to do the same thing.


How can I get rid of these one minute silence after my track. Help! :(

Im using the latest garageband ver. 10.3.2

my macos is also the latest version (mojave) & macbook pro is the latest 2018 version

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to export a project as expected from GarageBand on your MacBook Pro, as you get some unexpected silence at the end. To help with this, please make sure you're specifying the correct regions when exporting and here is more info:
