I can't get siri and facetime to work on my phone. Everything is connected but when I try to use either siri or facetime it just won't work. The siri screen shows up but the bottom where the line is usually wavy isn't there.
iPhone 7 Plus
Siri and FaceTime are using the mic that is hidden under the ear speaker grill.
Check if it works by recording a front-facing video saying something.
If you hear yourself good, then there's no a hardware issue and might be just a software bug.
In that case, restore your iPhone.

Just did it and couldn't hear myself at all. But I could make calls and it worked earlier in the day...
Calls are using the other mic, that is placed at the bottom of the phone.
Schedule an appointment at a Genius Bar or the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider to repair your iPhone.
